Guest guest
My pregnancy test was negative too. I had to get blood drawn from my PCP and that was a positive. you could still be positive and the test is just not picking it up yet. You can retest in a few days or call your PCP to see if they will do a blood test for you. God Bless, Robin, NorthEastern, NY EDD- July 27th, 2004 IT'S A BOY!!!!!! Guest guest
I took 3 negative tests before I got a positive with my son! So, maybe wait a few days and try again, or get one of the more sensitive tests. Josie
Guest guest
Generally I am a lurker but now have a question. I am four days late, since surgery I have been very regular. I took a home test which resulted in a negative, I do not feel like I am pregnant nor feel like I will start my period soon. Usually I have severe cramps right before starting. This time nothing! We have only been trying for a month and can't image already being pregnant. Any thoughts or suggestions are greatly appreciated!! -Carie Ann wife to -5 yrs mom to Colton-4yrs new life started 12/3/

Guest guest
It might be to early to test, or if you have been stressed you could have ovulated later than normal. I would give it a couple of days and test again

Guest guest
Carie Ann, Some pregnancy tests are more accurate/senitive than others. If it were me I would wait about a week and test again. Many women can show positive on their pregnancy test just being a day or two late, but it can take up to 2 weeks to show a positive test for other women. If you don't want to wait that long you might go to your doctor and get a blood test. They are much more accurate and show results sooner than the home pregnancy tests. Good Luck!
