Guest guest
I know it is petty of me to vent about something materialistic like clothes, especially when there are so many more important concerns (like correction & sleeping etc.). But lately it is really getting to me. I went shopping (again) on my lunch hour today and I was nearly in tears in the mall. is 23/7 with the s and it truly rules out 90% of the cute outfits available for girls. is in daycare full-time so I must have outfits that have no feet in them, snap in the crotch and go over her head. It is too much trouble to have my daycare lady take off the shoes, nor do I want her to, even for a minute, to get dressed. So that rules out all the cute cotton onzies with the cotton stretch pants that go over the onzie (perfect for daycare). All cheaper stores sells these type of outfits, Wal-Mart, Target, etc. It also rules out all pants what-so- ever because even if they have snaps in the crotch, the elastic waste would have to fit over her head/shoulders. I have found dresses with the onzie underneath sets, but this is too unrealistic for daycare. So I have been limited to the s cotton play outfit that snaps up both legs to the crotch and all the way up the chest. Quite frankly, I'm tired of looking at them and ALWAYS looks like she is wearing PJ's. I finally have my little girl and I can't dress her in all the cute outfits that are everywhere. Even Gymboree has some adorable jumpers, but they are way out of my price range. I go through all the stores looking and saying " how cute! can't wear that " , " This is adorable! can't wear that " . Today, I found unlimited cute outfits and every one of them were ruled out for some reason or another. I have to imagine that for all of you who have boys, it is worse. Can you only wear overalls, or PJ like outfits? Again, I am sorry to wine about something the least of importance, but I can't help it. Thanks for listening. Can anyone relate? and 3/2/04-s 23/
