Guest guest
, I'm not a doctor but I would think that if his feet are not able to sit flat in the boots, that yes, some degree of correction has been lost. Daiga > Is it possible to lose correction even though I'm keeping his feet in the shoes? has atypical clubfeet, and we're waiting for the shoes. Can he be losing correction in the Markell boots? Just looking at them today, I felt a twinge of anxiety. His feet seem to be lying kind of sideways - or is that normal? > > Also he has a sharp bone at the back of his heels. Guest guest
Hi , Just from first hand experience, yes, they can loose correction if they are in the Markells and are Atypical. Ava has Atypical and she relapsed very quickly in the Markells just in ONE WEEK. That is when I knew something was definitly wrong and emailed Dr. P who confirmed it. I know what your going through, should you keep him in the Markells or just out of a shoe totally??? We had the same dilemma, we kept her in the Markells until she saw Dr. P. We thought better to slow down the lost of correction then to loose it altogether! Love those s!!!))
