Sharon,

The bar cover I made is simply a rectangular piece of fabric. I cut

it the length of the bar (plus seam allowance) and wide enough to go

around the bar and attach with velcro. I don't really know how to

explain it!! But I lined the inside with a few layers of fusible

washable padding, the thickest I could find. If you'd like me to

send you one, just email me with your address. I don't know how much

it costs to mail to Melbourne, but we'll figure it out!! :-)

TO EVERYBODY WHO WANTS A BAR COVER: I'm working on them!! Actually,

I'm working on some local stores (Walmart & Joanne Fabrics) to see

if they'll donate some supplies! I figured it was worth a shot! And

that way I can just make a whole bunch & send some to Iowa too!

Also, someone mentioned about covers for the shoes. I'd be

willing to tackle that too but my daughter wears Markells. So if

anyone has an old pair of s they don't mind letting me

borrow to use as a guide, I'd appreciate it!

Thanks,

Sharon,

My son is three and is still in his shoes/bar. He will be 4 in

August. I think his Dr. will keep him in them as long as he

continues to tolerate them. We've been talking about how he is going

to the Dr. and he says no, I don't want to go, I don't want him to

take my shoes away. That's really great of you to make covers for

the bars.

I'd like a bar cover! I'm not sure if we'll be getting the DBB or the

shoes yet. We get them in two weeks.
