Guest guest
That is wonderful news. DM thejuggasmomma angelacanady@...> wrote: Jordan had her appointment with Dr. Frick on Monday. He said that he did not think that she needed the casts to correct the Metatarsal Abductus (new words I have learned). Anyway the bones in her feet are still turning in, but she is still not walking on the outsides of her feet and he said that her heels are touching the ground. Now, he said that keep wearing the brace 10 hours a day (she wears her brace at least 12 hours at night time). And to keep an eye on her feet. He said the Metatarsal Abductus could correct itself or it could be the beginning of a relapse. But, it may just always be that way and be more of a cosmetic thing. So, we were fortunate and blessed once again.
Guest guest
I just thought I would share with you: My 3 yo daughter (non-clubfoot child) was born with severe flexible metatarsus adductus that has spontaneously corrected. My son (right atypical clubfoot) also has developed what Dr Mosca and Dr Ponseti refer to as " dynamic adductus " in his clubfoot. Basically it is metatarsus adductus caused by a muscle imballance in the midfoot. Both drs say it is very common in clubfoot babies and usually self-corrects with age. Guest guest
Thank you for sharing that with me. That makes me feel better. I am glad that it has corrected itself. That goes along with what the doctor said, I really hope it corrects itself. Thanks again for letting me know that. > I just thought I would share with you: My 3 yo daughter (non- clubfoot child) was born with severe flexible metatarsus adductus that has spontaneously corrected.
