Hello all..I need some encouragment and advice...

My name is and I had RnY surgery last May, I'm 10 months post-

op. Overall I've lost 120 lbs and am within 10lbs of my " ideal "

weight, but at this point I could care less if I lost another ounce.

I'm very pleased at 5'6 " and 144lbs.

Well...yesterday I found out that I'm pregant!!! Yeah! (Just

barely...4 weeks maybe 5) I'm so elated, but at the same time I'm so

worried. I'm worried about proper nutrition, about gaining back my

weight, about another ectopic pregnany (had 1 in 2001), about having

a child 7 years after my last....but mainly about the health of this

baby. I know I need to eat properly, and I do, but I'm still so

stinkin' scared! I want to do everything I can to ensure a healthy

baby. I'm scared too because at this point I don't have any

pregnancy " symptoms " like tender/swollen breasts,...just no period

and a positive pregnancy test sitting on my bathroom counter!

Those of you who are less than 1 year post op...what are you eating?

I love my tuna and now...I know that I can only have 1 can or less a

week.

How about supplements? Since we " posties " don't absorb what the

normal person does, should I take only Prenatals or should I take

everything else ontop of prenatals.....B12, Calcium, extra folate?

My OB appt. isn't until next Friday and when I called my surgeon's

office, they didn't seem too worried...she just said prenatals should

be enough, but now that I have time to think about what she said,

that just doesn't make sense? How can that be enough for me?

I've been reading through some of the previous posts, and I'm sure

all these questions have been asked before, but I guess I'm too

anxious to look through them all. Thanks so much! And I look forwardf

to hearing some responses
