Guest guest
, For me the pill totally screwed my period up big time. Before I started the pill you could mark the calendar by me I was so regular, then when I stopped it to TTC I was all over the place, even skipping periods. My husband and I ended up trying for 3 years (once you added up all the months with a break in there for my WLS), till I finally got pregnant. I had actually gone to see my OB/GYN about these fertility issues and he wanted me to track my Basal Body Temp daily for 3 months before we did anything. The frustrated me since I was already doing the ovulation tracking via the Clear Plan Easy machine for the last 6 months, but I figured ok, 3 more months won't kill me if we have gone this long. My temps were all over the chart, no pattern showing up to see if I had ovulated at all so we decided to take a break again and low and behold found out I was pregnant! This was literally one month after I had gone to the OB/GYN. The visit to him so soon after sure had us all laughing. I would figure that your OB/GYN is going to tell you to track your temperature for a while before they run any tests so it would probably be in your best interest to start that ASAP. Keep a good record so you can show them if nothing has happened for a few months so you don't have to wait like I was going to. If you do go in and the doc doesn't want to do anything right away don't be discouraged, its hard, but don't let it get to you. I didn't think it was going to happen for us and it did, so hang in there. Axelrod TTC question Hi there. I have a question that I can't seem to find the answer to anywhere. My hubby and I have decided to start TTC. I took my last birth control pill on Oct. 25th and had a normal period at the end of October. I was due to start my cycle again on Nov. 25th, but haven't yet. I took 3 HPTs and all were negative. At what point should I be worried that I am not ovulating and make an appointment with my GYNO? Is it normal not to have normal periods after stopping the pill? I have been on the pill for 15 years, but back before I went on it I had normal cycles. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks,
