Whole Foods refused to carry Elaine's book por allow us to do a cooking demo using the book because iut doesn't come from their list of favored publishers. Don't get me wrong as there are many things I like there that I know I can use. Their employees are not familiar with the diet. They deal with a gazillion kinds of food protocols. It is our responsibility to contact the companies and get the ingredient list sent by mail for proper verification. The cheese department is OK with telling you ingredients and aging time. Asky someone at WF if something is OK for SCD and they will likely say, " Huh? " Carol F. SCD 6 years
