Guest guest
I get a reaction from the flu shot, so can't take it. The local MDA clinic was really pushing me to get it, but I let them do it once and ended up missing work because I could get up after I got the shot. Three (two little ones and my husband) of five of us in my family are sick now with a virus, which may or may not be flu, so we hope we'll be safe after this bout. Baby had 105 fever a few times. Doctor asked " Who's going to take care of you when you get sick? " but I didn't have an answer... They still have grocery stores and colleges in our area giving out flu shots, but I think they won't give the shots to anyone under 65 or with proof of a chronic illness. But the flu shots are still only $20 even though the quantities are limited (my kids' immunizations are over $300 for three shots). Take care, RH > > Dear Friend: I saw this news article on the MDA site, http://www.mdausa.org/news/041004flushot.htmlhttp://www.mdausa.org/ne ws/041004flushot.html>, and thought you would be interested.
