Guest guest
Dawn.. I just wanted to say that Dr. Whiteman is great. He's my husbands mito Doc. He's been extremely helpful. He knows his stuff. He takes plenty of time with us each visit. I'm so thankful for him. I hope you find the answers you need with him. If Dr Whiteman can not give me an answer, it would just be nice to have a Dr validate my concerns. It would be so wonderful if this was psychological, because then I woudl have more of a chance of getting better. WEll two years of intensive psychotherapy and antidepressants and my physical symptoms are much worse. Fortunately my counselor no longer agrees with the conversion disorder diagnosis. I guess I just needed to vent and felt like tattling on my Dr. Thanks! Dawn A

Guest guest
I am glad Dr. Whiteman has helped your husband. How did you hear about him and get into him? Dawn, I will be interested in how your appointment goes. I hope he can help you. Mayo is about 4 hours from me, but my insurance does not pay for Mayo, as the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, which is a good teaching hospital, but not up on mito, is only 30 minutes away. Good luck and I will be thinking of you. Smiles, a On Tue, 14 Dec 2004 07:05:51 EST jest2smile@... writes: Dawn.. I just wanted to say that Dr. Whiteman is great. He's my husbands mito Doc.
