Guest guest
well i havent had my tt yet but i have had other abdominal surgery's and the skin is numb! i'm guessing forever cause some of my surgerys are 17 years old and still numb but i can still feel whats happening on the inside, maybe your lttle bundles movements are just to small to realize, it takes awhile to get used to baby movements and recognize them as more than gas bubbles. but congrats on the baby and your tt. soon you wont mistake it at all! apryl
Guest guest
Hi Dee, My name is Christy I also have had the abdominioplasty but I am only 6 months out and still have lots of numbness. I haven't dares ask the plastic surgeon about this because he was very clear that he would not have done the " Tummy Tuck " if I were planning to have anymore babies. Hubby and I are TTC #3 now ansd are praying that things will go well. Can you tell me though if you have had any problems with your tummy stretching and hurting because of the pregnancy. I would love to continue to keep in touch with you or anyone else who has had the same surgery to compare notes as we go. I know one girl who got prego 7 years after her abdominoplasty and she just said that she had lots of pressure from less skin for baby to stretch, but she still looks awesome after having the baby. You wouldn't tell she even had one. LOL! Christy in Virginia
Guest guest
Not sure about the TT, but with my first, I didn't feel movement until about 21 weeks. And that was just a flutter. With my second, I felt it earlier...like 16 weeks, but that may have been because I knew what it felt like. I wouldn't stress about it, but it is a good point about the TT. mommy of , 3 yrs old and Tyler, 6 months old > Hello, > I have been thinking about this and wondering if anyone knows if my > thoughts might be " way off base " .
