Guest guest
My daughter is about five months old. She was born with a turned in right foot. Her left foot was set normally. She has had the four casts and the surgery to lengthen the tendon. We have had a very difficult working with the shoes and putting them on so she doesn't kick them off. The shoes appear to be designed in 1960. Given how ski boots and roller blades are made, wouldn't it be better to get rid of the shoe laces completely and use velcro??? If the tongue could be opened and the foot could be set in the shoe and the shoe closed with velcro with would seem to not only make it easier on the parents but less tramatic for the child. And if the shoe does come off, it's simple to put back on. I can't be the first person to think of this?? Thanks for any feedback.
