Hi Mia!

Just wondered how the trip home went. I haven't seen anything from

you in awhile and wondered how you were doing and how Addisyn was

adjusting to the sandals. Hope you had a good trip home and I can't

wait to hear how Addisyn is doing.

Hey , sorry I haven't posted since we got back. The trip was a true

success and the drive home went well. Addisyn is doing great. Her adjustment

to the shoes was minimal and we haven't had any problems. I'm planning on going

back out to see Dr. P in March or April just for a 6 month check, as long as

nothing comes up before then. Thanks so much for keeping in touch with us. I

just started working again this week, so once I get back into the groove of

things I will make sure to post more often. By the way how is doing?

Hi Mia,

I am so glad you had a safe trip home and Addisyn's adjustment is

going well. We are finally getting through the night like normal now,

but during the day the right foot keeps slipping out. We started out

with mitchells size 1 but it was too narrow for 's chunky little

feet, so now we are trying a size 2. They seem to be very comfortable

for him at night, but during the day I'm redoing them every two hours

or so. It's kinda frustrating. Dr. P told us to get into

Physical Therapy so we start that next week, hopefully they will have

some ideas on how to keep his foot in there. We've tried thicker

socks next we are going to punch one more hole in the above the ankle

strap and see if that's what the problem is. oiy!! I just can't wait

to see him stand on his own and walk (Keeping my eyes on the prize!)

I am so glad you are doing well. It definitely is the right place to

be that's for sure. What an awesome team they have at U of IHC.

Thank you Lord! We send him pictures in 5 weeks, but Dr. P will

probably call before then as he's keeping close tabs on . What

an angel that man is! Hopefully we can get these shoes to fit

properly. I am really hoping the PT helps with that. We are working

on standing with him every chance we get. Keep me posted on how you

guys are doing. Thanks for getting back with me. I was getting a

little worried when I didn't hear how things went! :) How awesome

that she's doing so well!!! Enjoy this! :)
