Guest guest
Hi Shayla, Welcome! There are lots of us that got pregnant just after surgery or before the 1 year was up. I got pregnant while on birth control pills 3 months after having surgery. Not what I would have chose, but someone had other plans for us! We are thrilled but in the beginning we were very worried but after seeing the midwives who delivered my 2 other daughters and a perinatologist, there have been no complications, I have a baby growing that is right on target and healthy. I take a prenatal, 2 calcium and an iron suppliment that doesn't cause constipation. Everything is going well except for two good sized hernias which just make me not have a ton of support for my back or belly. Other than that, all is great. I'm 28 weeks. I have lost weight until this past week, I think I gained 5lbs so far. I wish you lots of luck and pleasant pregnancy and healthy baby. Jenn, mom to 7 1/2, Caroline 4 and little baby girl due May 14, 2004.
