Guest guest Posted November 4, 2004 Report Share Posted November 4, 2004 Well, on Monday I was all upset re:DBB not being " right " and didn't get very good response from the orthotics tech when I talked to her. Made a panic app't with surgeon (2 1/2 hr drive away) for Thurs. however the dr's office (bless them!) had their usual orthotist (?) call me and talk through the situation. Turns out his set-up is ok and I'm going to take him back over in a month just to check on how it all is doing. Much more dignified! I was embarrassed but the Toronto orthotist reassured me that I hadn't had appropriate communication and really hadn't had good service (waited almost a month to finally get DBB when other places do same-day fitting) so I was comforted. Anyhow, thanks to everyone on here for the moral support. I am going to follow up with the poster...it is such a strength to hear the experiences of others.
