Guest guest Posted February 20, 2004 Report Share Posted February 20, 2004 I have known a couple people, 3 actually, around here whos cervix's starting opening prematurely and they had a stich put in to keep it closed up until delivery time and then it is removed. it is an outpatient procedure they do in L&D, at least here it is. i forgot the naem of the stitch but I bet it can be found on the web. i also think it is wrong of your doc to make you wait until Monday. I think they should see you now. Maybe you should call them back and ask if they can to ease your mind. I will be praying for you and those babies. Don't stress if that's possible, it just makes things worse. Listen to some Enya and relax. You are keeping those babies in!! Keep saying that to yourself! Hang in there, I'll be thinking of you.
