Migrant Appreciation is an alcohol drug and violence free event focused on

resource distribution and family violence prevention. We have several

exciting activities planned through out the length of the event including

the following:

& #61607; Family and Children's games

& #61607; Presentations

& #61607; Art Contest (El Orgullo de mi Raza, The pride of my Race)

& #61607; Jalapeño eating contest

The information posted on migrant web sites regarding this event has not

only received positive community response but also has from other

communities throughout the State of Washington. The people that are

currently involved in this event are listed below, we have had several other

requests for registration information etc.

Adolfo and Others,

I talked to Jesus Reyna at the Washington Association of Community and

Migrant Health Centers who is part of the event. He said it will take place

in Bellingham, WA and is the first annual. They're hoping to draw people

from all over Western Washington.

They plan booths, food, educational activities, etc. Jesus will be doing

health-related interaction with kids.

Those involved know a whole lot more about this than I do, so please

, Jesus, others, give us more details.
