Hey Angie,

Are you sure its gas? I thought I was having gas pains and after a year

when it got soo bad I just couldnt handle it anymore, I finally went to

the Dr and they found out I had an ucler. My pain would start about 30

to 45 minutes after I ate or sometimes if my stomach was empty and it

would hurt in my belly and my back.

They gave me medication (which they say is ok for me to take when I get

pregnant) and it felt sooo much better. Now as long as I take the meds

everyday I have no pain.

well, I went to L & D and they monitored me. All they said was it WASN " T

contractions or anything effecting the babies I am carring. Which was relieving.

I

am very very very sore in my upprt tummy area. It felt like contractions in

my tummy. I was thinking maybe I had something stuck in my stoma.... and it

finally worked thru. They said it was gas so I was going ny what they said. If

it

keeps happeneing I am gonna go to the doc to get checked .

I've been a " gasbag " since my WLS a year ago, with it increasing

dramatically since being pregnant. It is only painful sometimes-

usually it's just ever present and dying to get out, one way or

another. I have used Gas-X at times, especially at work (LOL)!
