Guest guest
Hi Chrystal, Yeah it happened to me too maybe around 8-9 months out from surgery. I love milk so to this day it's been a difficult ordeal for me to overcome. If I chew up those lactase tablets before I drink milk then 9 out of 10 times I'm fine. Something I noticed recently though....I bought that new Carb Down milk and I can drink it without becoming nauseous (unlike with regular milk)! So that means one of two things: 1. There is no lactose in that milk (and I do think there is!!) 2.) It was the other sugars making me sick and not the lactose this whole time! I can drink that Lactaid milk but it has like 12g of sugar and so I dump after drinking a full glass. Aali > I became lactose Intolerant after the WLS did this happen to anyone else? I suppose its a good thing no cheesecake, or super fatty cheesy yummy stuff... > > I will be 2 years out on March 4 I thought at some point I would be able to tolerate dairy but it hasn't happened. > > Chrystal > > Wife to Jace - together 6 Years! > Happy Mommy to - 4 on January 28! > New Baby Swenson Due July 28, 2004! > Zookeeper for 2 big dogs and 5 cats who let me feed them! > >
