I am not sure what everyone is gaining but i don't think they gain much, just

a normal amount. I would not be alarmed at 3 lbs when you are this far along.

You are doing great :)

I weighed 199 when I found out I was pg, at lowest point I was down to 161, and

as of doc visit this morning, I was 174. I would NOT worry about 3lbs at all.

The last trimester " normal " weighted women tend to put on about 1 lb a week.

I am 33 weeks pregnant and have gained about 15 pounds. I was down

to about 219 from 333 when I got pregnant. I didn't start gaining

weight until about 20 weeks. I have been hungry so I eat. I still

can't eat big meals due to the RNY gastric bypass. I was wondering

how fast after having the baby did anyone start losing the weight. I

know that it is OK to gain weight during pregnancy. I am only

gaining baby weight. I can tell by looking in the mirror that the

weight is all in my belly. I am prone to have big babies. My first

was 9.2 and the second 7.15 on my due date. When I go over they get

big fast. Any info would be great.

Thanks

,

Hi, I was wondering the same thing myself. I am almost 22 weeks

along. I have gained maybe 6 pounds so far. It's freaking me out a

little since watching that scale go up was never my favorite thing to

do. But, it's so much different. I really am not showing at all. When

I am at home with my hubby, I show him my tiny little belly that's

growing..slowly. I just recently started wearing some maternity pants

since all my regular stuff is just way too snug and uncomfortable. It

was hard for me to go back to elastic waisted pants after I swore up

and down that surgery I would never own a elastic waisted pants ever

again in my life!! I am around 150-155 now (was down to 142

prepregnancy) and wear anywhere between an 8 to 12 pre pregnancy. I

have bought medium pants and a few small or medium shirts. The pants

fit wonderfully!! I have to hike them way up so they don't look so

baggy in the belly area. They do look good on. I haven't worn any

maternity tops yet, I don't have the belly for them yet and would

feel silly. But I tried them all on and they fit just fine. Tons of

room for a belly. They looked tiny before I put them on, but there's

tons of room.

Like you, I am concerned about gaining too much. I wish there was a

way to know for sure what you will gain and that it was a sure thing

that it would all come off. I just pray that I make all the right

choices when I eat. Lately I have been having issues. Everyone thinks

I don't eat enough. I have been craving junk food. Have had small

bits here and there....no old habit time of eating. I just don't know

for sure if I am eating enough or not to be honest and I am also

afraid to eat more. This is too confusing!!! Let's just pray we do

the right thing all the way around and try not to worry too much

about the weight gain. We do have growing babies that are way more

important than 20 pounds!! Just wait until you feel them move, it's

wild!!!

Hope I was some help...we made need each other!!

Lots of luck to you!!!
