Guest guest
Hi Deanna, Something similar happened to me in the Walmart. I hadn't eaten anything and my sugar was soooo dangerously low! I also find if I don't get enough protein in I will feel woozy and like I am going to faint. I have started keeping protein bars in my purse and when I feel that I might be getting weak I start munching. It was especially scary for me cause I had my 3 year old son with me.....he thought I was playing but I was terrified because what if someone had taken him! AAAHHHHH! Be safe and take care of yourself and baby! Guest guest
Deanna~ I find that my water bottle is my best friend. Sipping from it all day long, taking it everywhere helps. I also drink fruit 2-0 and Diet Iced Botanicals flavored water *both found at Sam's Club*. These add some variety as well as Crystal Light. The only thing I can add is to keep sipping, drinking all day long. We don't need you faced down, on the floor any longer! Passing out is not fun, especially if you landed on your belly! Guest guest
Deanna, Along with the crystal light (the kind sold in bottles is made with splenda, don't get the powder kind... it's made with nutrasweet!), Propel is a great alternative to just plain water. It has only 2 grams of sugar in it, and is sweetened the rest of the way with Splenda. It also has a few vitamins in it that are good for us. Also, Fruit H2O is good, too. One of the things I do to MAKE myself drink enough is upon waking up in the morning, I drink 20 oz. of water and then 20 oz. of milk. It takes me about an hour to drink all that, but it sure is worth it. It has helped keep me hydrated. Most of the time, instead of water, I drink Propel, though... the lemon is my favorite!! I've had a few episodes of low sugar and it isn't fun... especially when you are at the store. I haven't passed out, fortunately, but it has sure made me aware of what/when I eat and drink!! Take care! Sharon
