big drs appt tomorrow

Tomorrow is the day for the shoes and dbb. I'm so nervous. I know

that all kids react differently so I'm curious to see how my son is

going to take it. The downfall is that he just started to sleep well

at night. He slept for almost 7 straight hours last night!!

Wish us luck!

7 hours of sleep? what's that. Logan is 4 months, 1 week and still waking up

every hour at night. yes i have tried the cereal at night, in the morning, with

a feeder, with a spoon. you know all those wives tales that guarantee your

little to sleep all night. Called the pedi and he said to just deal with it and

not let him cry it out because Logan has been through so much already he does

not want to add to his stress. i agree but come on there has to be some good

old fashion remedy out there that still works. i want to figure something out

now because i except a set back when we get the shoes. And yes Logan has his

mommy wrapped around his little finger so that does not help. Any advice?

For my daughter, white noise helps when she has a problem sleeping. We

have a fan in her room that we keep pointes away from her but she finds

the noise comforting. I have also known people that record their vacuum

cleaner because it has the same effect. I guess it supposed to be

similar to the noise in the womb for the baby. Maybe that might help you.

Now I'm the biggest softie their is, but I did let him cry himself

to sleep a few times. It seems like torture, but it hasn't lasted

past 15 minutes. I did that the night before last and then he had

the great night last night. I doubt I'll do the same tomorrow night

since it will be the first night in the shoes, but I will after a

few days. It's worth it!!!
