Guest guest
My twins were born at 34 weeks and weighed 3#10oz and was 16 1/2 inches long and his brother was 4#10oz nad was 17 1/2 inches long. They were perfect. The larger stayed in NICU overnight for observation and had a total hospital stay of 5 days, he had jaundice, No big thing there and his little brother had a 13 day stay in the NICU for low blood sugar and jaundice but did quite well. The smaller needed oxegen when he came out but they both did extremely well and did not need machines of anykind, with the exception of the oxegen they were both perfect and were breathing on their own. Your twins should be of really good weight now and ready to come on out. They should be done cooking by now, lol...get rest while you can, they keep you up alot at night. My hubby was NO help so I was rally tired until they started sleeping more but since they were so preemie they required more smaller feedings than a full term baby. My boys are identical but the larger boy is still larger today. he was always the better eater. Even when they were crawling around i would give them a 4 oz playtex nurser with juice in it and he was a guzzler and the little one a sipper so he would guzzle his and then go find where his brother left his and drink that too, lol, they were and still are too funny. Guest guest
I LIVED IN THE MOUNTAIN WITHOUT ANY FAMILY OR FRIENDS CLOSE BY. IT WAS STRAINGHT UP HILL AND 40 MINUTES FROM THE NEAREST TOWN. IN THE WINTER I WAS SNOWED IN AND I REALLY HATED IT. I DID NOT SEE ANYONE, NOT EVEN REALLY HUBBY SINCE HE WORKED IN TOWN AND WORKED 12 HOURS DAYS AND THEN 2 FOR TRAVEL. IT WAS BAD BUT I MADE IT AND I AM SSOO GLAD I HAD MY BOYS. I WOULD DO IT ALL OVER AGAIN IF I HAD TO. God Bless, Robin, NorthEastern, NY EDD- July 27th, 2004 IT'S A BOY!!!!!! Guest guest
Robin, Did you care for your boys by yourself? My hat is off to you girl. That had to be hard work, especially when they were really little.
