Guest guest
Something else just occurred to me, we have always measured 's bar to his shoulders from heel to heel, and not bolt to bolt. This would make a considerable difference in him needing a bar before the age of 2, because the bar is quite a lot wider, at least an inch or two? and 24 Jan 2003, bilateral cf www.clubfoot.co.za
Guest guest
, thanks for forwarding that note from ! I too, adjust the bar so that the insides of the heals equal the outside width of his shoulders. Currently, the bar is adjusted so that the measurement from the inside of each heel is 10 " across, however, when I measured from bolt to bolt, it measured about 14½ " . So, even though this adjustable bar goes from 9 " to 15 " , it is a little misleading. I would imagine that I only have about a ½ " left of room to expand the bar. So far I have written to Dr. Pirani but have not received a response from him. I think that I will go ahead and email now along with the response from Fillauer (that sent to the group) and see if she has any ideas. Thanks again, Daiga > Something else just occurred to me, we have always measured 's bar > to his shoulders from heel to heel, and not bolt to bolt.
