Guest guest
And yet ANOTHER happy customer!!!! I'm glad Dr. P and Iowa City lived up to all our high praise and expectations! Did you get to enjoy the city much? I love Iowa City, I'd move there if the climate wasn't so cold but I'm spoiled to a more southern locale. s. Addisyn Update Hey everyone, sorry I haven't posted since we came to Iowa we've been really busy. Anyway, we have been here in Iowa for 3 weeks seeing Dr Ponseti every 5 days. Yesterday we had an apt and Dr P. put her in her shoes and we get to go home! I am so amazed at how fast he was able to correct her feet, just in 3 casts. I figured since she has Atypical CF we would be here alot longer, but Dr P. can work miracles as we all know!! The shoes are awsome, Addisyn slept through the night with no changes. When she was in the DBB all she did was cry. Our experience here has been amazing and I could never ask for any better care then what we got here. The staff at the hospital are wonderful and Dr P. is just a God send. He is definately 90 years old and still practicing for a reason! We are going to come back here when she is about a year old for a check up just for my own piece of mind and make sure things are going well. He and made it very clear that we can call or email at any time we have questions or concerns. They are so easy to work with. For anyone who is on the fence about making the trip to Iowa I would say go for it. We traveled 1200 miles with Addisyn (3mos) and my 3 1/2 year old son and it was well worth the many hours spent in the car to get here!!
