It sounds very complicated and the only reason I would do it would be knowing that this was going to save my life, but that's my personal opinion if it were me. You seem to have a very caring and knowledgeable team and having Dr Cohen at CCF is a plus as well. I know that having 2 surgeries in a year have done a number on me and I went into the last one before I was fully recovered from the fist one. It is now 8 months since my last surgery and I'm just starting to feel a little better but I know that if I were facing a major surgery anytime soon, it would only be a life saving procedure as I realize now that anesthesia seems to linger in my cells and my recoupertion is long and difficult. I'm sorry you are facing what sounds to me to be a complex surgical procedure. Could you try to strengthen your system now by taking extra CoQ and even Carnitor if you system handles these?
