Charity, it will be okay. There are alot of people on this group tht got

pregnant early and by accident and all went on to have healthy babies. you are

doing a gret job right now of taking all the right vitamins and your OB/GYN will

add prenatal vitamins to those. You should go to the drug store and get

yourself some folic acid and start on that now, it's never too early for that in

pregnancy. Eat as well as you can, you may have to eat several little meals a

day

and some fruits and veggies for snacks but you will be fine. You may even

still lose weight while pregnant, alot do, some do not but lose it right away

after. Good Luck and take good care of yourself and also, Congratulations Mommy

If we can have our miracle child.....it's very doable for you. I was

1 week post-op when I found out that I was a month pregnant. I had

been preg. when surgery was done and the hospital lab goofed on the

blood test somehow. Anyway, after much freaking out we were

determined to get through this. My condition was complicated by

hyperemesis gravidarium....morning, noon, and night sickness.

Hospitalized 3 x's for dehydration......couldn't even swallow my own

saliva at one point. The sickness got better with drugs, and I did

as much supplements that my tummy could tolerate. Shelby is here now

as of 2-18-04 and appears to be healthy...TG! My labs are all in the

cellar, but I'm working on that now.

All that to say....I wish you the best of luck and I know how scary

it can be, but you and the lil blessing that you carry should be just

fine. Supplement as much as you can....cause they sure do take what

they need :) Best wishes for a safe and happy pregnancy and baby.

Charity,

Congratulations to you!! I am sure you will be okay if you work with your OB and

your surgeon. Besides the prenatal vitamin that your OB will prescribe to you, I

would start taking folic acid. Best wishes to you!!
