Well I haven't posted since i found out I was pregnant, but thought

an update might be in order.

I've seen my ob twice this week. The first visit was to hear the

heartbeat, and she couldn't get it... made me very worried. (first

time pregnant lady at only 7 months after LapRNY.) So then on monday

I went to the high risk ob and he did an untrasound, and I got to see

and hear the heartbeat. So then I was very stress free for about 15

hours... then the next morning I woke up with this brown dischrge

stuff... It happen last month and by about the middle of the day

tuesday I remembered that it was on the 10th last month and lasted 5

days. So i decided that my body was confused and was going to try

and have a period again even though it's not blood and there's not

cramps involved. I called my regular ob just to make sure that my

thoughts were resonable, and she had me come in weds. morning just so

she could hear the heartbeat herself. She and I both heard it, and

it was strong and the right rate. So, i'm back to being somewhat

calmer. Hopefully that lasts. I keep telling myself that if I can

just get past next week, (first trimester ends), then I can relax and

just enjoy the pregnancy. I sure hope I'm telling myself the truth!

So baby is growing at the right rate, heartbeat is good, and I dont

have to go back to see any doctors until March 4th. woo hoo!

So that's my update... I'm left wondering if anyone else has had

this " fake " period while pregnant?
