Guest guest
Margaret, We used an infant carseat 'bag' that we purchased at Sears - it was thick, quilted and warm! It's sort of like an oval sleeping bag with a slit through the bottom side so that you can buckle him up. The top side zips right over the harness and all. I'm not sure how big is but if he still fits in his infant carrier, this may work for you. Here is a link (you may have to cut and paste the WHOLE link for it to work): http://www6.sears.ca/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay? storeId=10001&catalogId=10001&categoryId=10049&langId=- 1&rrc=1&productId=157708658&pe=11 Also, last spring I saw a snowsuit at Zellers that had two zippers down the front starting at the chest and then running all the way down the fronts of both legs so that it opened right up - if I remember correctly, it worked so that you could lay the baby on top of it and then zip it up. I remember seeing it and thinking that I definitely would have bought one if I had found it earlier in the season (by that time it was February or possibly even March). I searched for one that was beyond size 24 months that I could have used for this year but couldnt' find one. Maybe you could try looking there? If I'm out and I see one, I'll get the name of it for you.
