Guest guest
I think my HCG was about that at 5 weeks along. I had my kids a bit further apart. I had twins who were 2 1/2 when I had my daughter. They were very good to her, 1 kinda ignored her, the other loved to watch her. I have a friend who's daughter had a baby when her other one was 14 months and all was well. My mom has my sisters 10 months apart, they all survived I think they get closer. My brother and I are 20 months apart and he is like my twin, I love him more than anything:) Congratulations and God Bless, HUGS, ROBIN, NY Age- 41 Due Date- July 27th, 2004 OPEN RNY 10-18-02 378/246/170??? Guest guest
The bHCG levels starts off small and increases rapidly as the pregnancy progresses. I suggest you have another Bhcg level in a few days time. To check that the level is increasing. sorry can't give any adivice over the other question, don't have any children yet. Good luck, Cathy
Guest guest
Hi (sorry I didn't see your name on your post), Welcome to the group and congrats on your little one and the little one to be! I can't speak from first first hand experience but my twin sis, her first two kids, are 22 months apart. With us being twins and very close I have been very much involved in helping her raise her kids so I will tell you what we did with and . From the moment my sis found out she was pregnant we had very involved with the pregnancy, having her help as much as possible with preparing for the baby. When was born was very eager to help, always willing to get the diaper and wipes, clothes, or whatever my sister needed for the baby. Though was only 22 months we would explain to her how important it was for her to be a good girl and take her naps or go to bed when it was time, or pick up her toys, or whatever we needed her to do, because Mommy was tired from taking care of the baby. I know my niece was 4 months older than you son will be when your little one is born, but I'm sure it will all work out for you. The best thing about this situation is that your kids will have a built in playmate, my niece and nephew were inseparable when they were little, so much so that one of them always would get out of their bed at night to go sleep with the other. I always ended up finding them in the same bed, sleeping with their foreheads pressed together, it was beautiful. I tell them this now (they are 15 and 14) and they absolutely don't believe me and then go on about how the other one is totally a pain and ruining their lives, LOL! So don't fret about how difficult it will be when they are little, start strategizing for when they are teenagers and how your gonna prevent them from killing each other! LOL! Congrats again on your special blessings! Axelrod Pregnancy Confirmed - 5 weeks along I found out today that I am 5 weeks pregnant and due August 18, 2004. We have a 8 1/2 old son who is such a joy to both of us so if all goes well, our children will be 17 months apart. Does anyone have children this close together (even closer) and if so, how did you get through the first 6 weeks with a newborn and a toddler. Need some reassurance that all will be ok. =) I also found out that my hcg level is 189 -- is that a good level or something to be concerned about? Children are a blessing, and a gift from the Lord. -Psalm 127:
Guest guest
Hi : Thank you for the very helpful advice. I feel much better now after reading how your sister handled two babies. I would love nothing more than for them to be as close as her kids were when they are small. I know that teen agers tend to change but if we're as lucky as your sister, I'll remind them of the closeness they shared. A few pictures might not hurt either as proof. LOL =) Thanks again and take care, Hazel > Hi (sorry I didn't see your name on your post), > Welcome to the group and congrats on your little one and the little one to be! Guest guest
Hi Robin: Thanks for the message. I would love for our kids to be as close as you and your brother -- that would be a wonderful thing. We're very happy that our son will have a sister or brother to grow up with. Knock on wood -- I tend to be overly cautious during this stage. We didn't announce my pregnancy with our son until I was 17 weeks along because I had lost a baby in January 2002 -- not too long after we told our families and I'm sure we'll do the same with this little one. Congratulations to you -- you're due a month before me. =) How exciting! Take care, Hazel > I think my HCG was about that at 5 weeks along. I had my kids a bit further > apart. Guest guest
Hazel, I will have to try to hunt up some pics of them when they were small. I sure wish I had pics of them sleeping like they did when they were little, they were so cute, especially with them being the two red heads in the family, the last two have blonde hair. Their two little red heads pressed together looked like little angels. Every time I tell them about how they were when they were very small, 2 thru 4 years, they say they don't believe me at all, but I know they do. Little would do EVERYTHING told him to, he worshipped her. I also tell them that when they get older, in their 20's and the are both off at college, they will be calling each other all the time like their mom and I do, and they will be very close, sharing everything with eachother, and again they don't believe me, but I know it will be true, its so obvious that they have a special bond because of how close together they are. Hazel, take lots of pics of your little ones loving on each other so you can show them the tangible proof when they are at each others throats when they are 14 and 15. LOL! Your one lucky lady Hazel.
