For those of you who may not remember, I had posted a while back wondering what to do about Owen's bar. He has the largest adjustable bar available (Red Fillauer 9 " -14 " ) but about 2 months ago, when I adjusted the width, I realized that I would no longer be able to make wider adjustments...it was at it's limit! Our orthotist was able to modify the bar by adding metal pieces to each end. Owen will now be able to use this bar until he is finished with bracing (age 4). Right now, I have the bar adjusted to it's smallest size which is just under an inch wider than Owen's current shoulder width - even though it's a bit wider than he normally wears it, he's adjusted to it without a problem. If anyone is interested in seeing it, I'll take photos and send them to CFPics. Happy Holidays!
