Good luck... Let me know if u find anything that helps. We don't have wood

floors, but has scratched up all of the wood on his changing table from

being a " wild changer " !! We are planning on getting wood floors in the house we

are building and I was wondering the same thing.

There have been a quite a few discussions about padding the bar just

recently. I use pipe insulation on Owen's bar which is the large red

Fillauer. You could probably do something similiar with the gold

bar. I'll take a picture and send it to CFPics.

You can slip large socks over the boots.

We have been chatting a bit lately, trying to come up with some good

ideas as to how to pad the bolts a bit. We have brand new HW floors

throughout the main 2 levels of our house and I need to come up with

a way to pad the bolts - our daughter wears the gold bar, it is

flatter than the red one so the bolts will be in full contact with

the floor when she starts cruising. I would also think she would have

no real traction and worry about her falling. It was suggested that

we could try using the pipe material (the hollow rubber piping used

for insulating water pipes, most parents seem to have used this for

padding the bar) on the bolts or someone suggested the rubber

material used for canning...our little one is three and a half months

now so padding the bolts is a ways off for us. Please let us know if

you find something that works.

Thanks,

I will take a picture today of the padding I use which goes to the ends of

the bar and covers the bolts. I will send it to the CFPics list. If you

aren't on the list, you won't be able to see any pictures that are sent

before you join. The pictures are sent in emails as attachments on this

list, so if you want to see them you have to be on individual emails. Come

on over and join us so you can share pics of your family or anything

clubfoot related. I will try to approve memberships as soon as I can,

please fill out the short survey file that comes when you request your

membership because I've been out of the loop here recently and I don't

really know all the new members. We restrict membership because quite

honestly there are more than a few wackos out there who seem to get jollies

from clubfoot stuff and want to see pictures of feet. These are our

children so I'm sure everyone understands why we're cautious about who is

on this list.

Anyway, come join at

See you there!
