We see Dr. Frick. The number you listed is not the number I call to make

appts. with him. I don't know if it is another office or something. But he

only

sees clubfoot babies on Mondays at the CMC Myers Park office unless there are

special circumstances. The number I use to contact his office is:

The receptionists can be real biddies. We had a hard time getting in with

him until I emailed him directly at: steven.frick@...

He responded promptly.

As for the insurance factor, I don't know. He takes ours. His office visits

are cheaper than any other ortho we have seen if he doesn't take your ins.

Good luck.

He is an AWESOME doctor and I highly recommend him. His own child has

clubfoot.

Don't stress. I seem to recall someone else who goes to see

Dr. Frick had the name of someone else in his office that was really

helpful! I am sure they will reply shortly.

I know it's late in the day and you probably won't get to this until

tomorrow now. Sorry you're having difficulties *again*!

If you look up message # 23292, there are 3 responses from families

who are seeing Dr. Frick, so you could email those families

individually.

Also, here is a link to the page on the Ponseti_links site that has

some info on Dr. Frick on the internet including an email address:

In my experience, the receptionists don't know the first thing about

the word " Ponseti " so don't be alarmed that they had no clue what you

were talking about. If you talked to a nurse or a physician's

assistant who wasn't familiar with the term, then I'd be more

concerned!

Hope you're able to get through to someone who can help get you in to

see Dr. Frick and get the Tri-care issue resolved!

It could be that Dr. Frick practices out of two offices and that's

why your address didn't match up with the orthopaedic office that you

talked to today.
