Guest guest
I don't think you are having an ovulation problem but it does sound like something is not right. I would go to your doc and get a checkup first with a Pap and see what they say about you TTC. Good Luck with everything. Maybe it's nothing but I would get checked first and get a medical opinion on getting pregnant. HUGS, ROBIN, NY Age- 41 Due Date- #4 July 27th, 2004 OPEN RNY 10-18-02 378/246/170??? Guest guest
, Glad to see you posting, welcome! I'm sorry that I can't speak specifically to your questions, but have you seen your OB about this and discussing with him/her that you are now trying to conceive? I had trouble like you did and finally went to my OB about it, he wanted me to track my basal body temp for 3 months and I ended up getting pregnant the first month so we didn't go into it further, though the tracking didn't reveal any pattern like it was supposed to so I know it didn't help, I just got super lucky. I hope that you conceive soon! Axelrod I am finally posting... Hi everyone!! I have been a member for about a year, but didn't bother posting yet, because I wasn't pregnant, nor was I trying. I was enjoying reading the posts. Now I am trying to conceive so I thought I might become a little more involved. A little about myself. I live in Agawam, Massachusetts. I had a Roux En Y in April 2002, and I have lost a total of 175 pounds. I started at about 325, and I am down to 150. I am 5'9 " , so I am wearing about a medium, and sizes 8-10. I have a 3 year old son, and I am happily married for the last 7 years. My husband also had surgery in July of 2003, and has lost over 120 so far. He looks great. I would like to hear from anyone who may have had this problem, and if you can tell me if you have had a difficult time conceiving. When I tried to get pregnant the first time, I really had no problem. It took about 4 months of trying. However, I never had any irregular periods up to that point. Since I had my son, I had a few strange irregular periods, like bleeding a few days earlier, and it continuing on through the week it was supposed to be in. After I had my surgery, I started really getting irregularities, like bleeding two weeks on, and two off. I was on several different birth control pills, shots, and the patch to see if anything would help, and I even had an ultrasound to rule out other problems. Nothing seems to have worked. Now we are trying to conceive, and I am wondering if the problem I was having with my periods could be a clue to something worse, like an ovulation problem. Can anyone tell me about their experiences with this? Thanks, Children are a blessing, and a gift from the Lord. -Psalm 127:3 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Guest guest
Hey , I just wanted to let you know that I live in Gloucester, not sure how far that is from you. I had trouble conceiving my 1st daughter but that was because both my tubes were blocked. After they were cleared I had no problems. Wish I could help more.
