Guest guest
Neurologists, endocrinoligists and geneticists are more likely to know something about mito, but the disease really does not fit neatly into any one speciality. This is one of the problems, both for diagnosis and ongoing treatment. Most mito patients end up with a team of doctors to deal with different aspects. Regardless of speciality, you will need to find a doctor with a particular interest in mito. Otherwise it is very difficult to get an adequate workup for diagnosis. Barbara > > I am new to this list.
