Guest guest Posted October 13, 2004 Report Share Posted October 13, 2004 , that was funny! LOL! I remember being at Walmart with Owen and Rhys (then, 2 yrs). Owen was in the stroller wearing his brace and we were in the line-up at the check out. There was a little boy with his mother ahead of us and the boy kept turning around and staring at Owen's brace. Next we overheard him asking his mother " why is that baby wearing those funny shoes " . His mother turned and looked and then quickly turned back and we heard her say, " I don't know. " Next thing you know, Rhys walks up to the little boy and she matter-of-factly says " that's my baby brother Owen and those are just his boots with the bar " ...as if EVERYONE must surely know that!
