This could be the missing link we have been looking for in my case. My

grandmother had Rhuematic Fever as a child and had many mito symptoms that were

never really correlated to be anything. I never had heard that there was a link

between RF and mito. Very intriguing. Would love to read this article!

I haven't heard of this connection but would be interested in seeing

any articles on the subject. My father lost a full year of school as

a child because of severe rheumatic fever. My son also had a bad

case of rheumatic fever as a child though I did not. All three of us

have a mito mutation. I know that any serious infection, viral or

bacterial, has the potential to exacerbate existing mito. I'm

assuming you're talking about some rf/mito connection beyond the

usual infection issue? Keep us posted if you find more information.
