Guest guest
Hi Lori, I am 13 weeks tomorrow and have only gained 5 pounds, some have gained none so far. I think from what I have read on this group that if you are not binging on junk that you only gain what is required for the baby and some don't even gained that. I have also been seeing from past posts from the new moms that the weight has been easy to shed after childbirth. I think you will be fine nad really need not worry about gaining. I never reached my goal either so I was also concerned until I read the posts . Good Luck with everything and Congratulations HUGS, ROBIN, NY Age- 41 Due Date- #4 July 27th, 2004 OPEN RNY 10-18-02 378/246/170??? Guest guest
I did not see the original note on this. But I am 9 weeks along and pg with twins and I have lost 6 lbs. but am popped out in the belly. I have also heard that it is very easy tolose the weight after. I don't know what the normal is to gain with twins after WLS but hopefully not too much! I also did not reach my goal before getting pg. But what are you gonna do?! Guest guest
Thanks for the reply Robin. Congrats on your pregnancy and only gaining 5 pounds so far. That seems like a healthy amount. I know everyone is different, but it sure would be nice to be one of the ones that actually lose during pregnancy! I can dream, right??? lol. When I was pregnant with my first daughter I only gained 30 pounds total...Of course I weighed 300 pounds at the time. Im so happy to be lighter this time. 300 pounds of pregnant, raging hormones was no fun at all! Lori D. vbg 7-23-02 -114 and Newly expecting!
