Guest guest
I HAVE GAINED 14 POUNDS AND I AM 20 WEEKS. THE DOCS ARE PLEASED AND I AM ON 2 DIFFERENT GROUPS WHERE I AM ASSURED THIS IS NORMAL AND WILL GO AWAY AFTER THE BABY. YOU ACTUALLY HAVE NOT REALLY GAINED ALL THAT MUCH, YOU ARE DOING WELL. JUST ENJOY YOUR PREGNANCY, THE WEIGHT WILL BE GONE AFTER. God Bless, Robin, NorthEastern, NY EDD- July 27th, 2004 IT'S A BOY!!!!!! Guest guest
I confess, I'm a daily scale person. Sometimes 3-4 times a day. I am not " freaking " yet.......but I see it coming. I have been so nervous about gaining my weight back. Of course, I don't think I'll ever see 316 again, but seeing 200 again is a definite this pregnancy and I'm not the least bit happy about that. I'm 17w3d and I've gained 8.5 to 9 pounds so far. That is a scary thing so I 100% sympathize with you. I was planning on having a tummy tuck in February, then found out I was pregnant in December. Guess I'll be waiting awhile. The good thing I remember from my pregnancies before is that I gained 20-25 pounds with each of the other 3 and lost that plus some every time with breastfeeding. That is a wonderful thing for weight loss, let me tell ya! I was going to post a question about the weight gain thing myself, glad somebody else is having struggles with that, too. Take care and good luck! Mandi in Concord, NC Postop Distal RNY 09/23/
Guest guest
I get super angry when I go to the Obgyns and their scale doesn't match up with mine at home...Maybe cause I weigh at home naked - I know Too Much Information....But honestly the stupid nurses think Jeans, boots, sweater, and shirt only weigh 2 pounds....Yeeeaaaahhhh Righhhhhhhht!!! I have weighed every day since the surgery. Its part of my morning ritual. I have lost 13 pounds since getting pregnant and I am 21 weeks pregnant. I know its going to go up soon. That's what happened with my son. My last week of pregnancy I was toxemic and retaining water - I gained 17 pounds. If that happens this time I will have a heart attack. But I also have to remember that 3 weeks after I had my son I had lost 40 pounds. That was pre - WLS. Chrystal Wife to Jace - together 6 Years! Happy Mommy to - 4 Years Old!
