Guest guest
Oh man. It happened today and put me flat on my back. I had Captain Crunch for breakfast. I have eaten it before, no problem. TOday it put me flat. I was on the toilet with my head over a garbage can. My hubby didn't know what the heck was going on. He kept asking if everything was okay and i kept telling him yeah. He asked if he should take me to the hospital. When I said no, he said okay and went out and sat on the couch. I had to try to explain to him that it was nothing major -- just dumping. He had never seen me dump before. I had warned him about it but he never saw it. I was also flushed, dizzy and right after I finished dry heaving and getting rid of excess saliva, I fell asleep for a couple hours. Got up and had protein -- turkey and a hunk of cheese -- for lunch. Hubby was relieved to see that i looked much better but told me to never do that again. Goodbye Captain Crunch. Anyway the point is -- your body changes during pregnancy. YOu may dump more severely on things than you did when you weren't pregnant or you may not dump at all on things that made you do so. I know my first pregnancy I quit dumping just about entirely (except on liquid sugars -- jello, pudding, ice creams that were not NSA). This pregnancy I might be going the other direction.
