Guest guest
I've been swallowing pills since a month post-wls without problems, even those honkin' calcium +D pills. I drink plenty of water with them and they desolve easily. For the prenates I take One Source, from Wal Mart. They are a smaller pill and you take 2 daily instead of one big one. I also swallow and extra 1 mg of folic acid and iron pill each day. Follow your doc's instructions on pill taking, there may be a reason he/she might not want you to swallow them. Good luck, Toi > I have a question about the prenatal vitamins, how do you take them, > do you crush them or take them whole, or in liquid form, same thing > for the folic acid and my ob said to go ahead and start taking some > vitamin a. Guest guest
I have been taking a chewable Prenatal vitamin. I just asked my doc to prescribe one that was chewable to make it easier to get down each day. The one I have is orange flavored, and really doesnt taste that bad. Guest guest
, I take them whole with plenty of water but that might not be so for everyone. If you have trouble swallowing then maybe you should look into other forms. Good luck and best wishes to you!!
