Guest guest
, Welcome and congrats! Don't worry too much as I'm sure you know stress isn't good for the baby. Don't think that miscarriages are caused by WLS because they aren't, and besides, your pretty far out anyway even though you aren't at goal yet, most docs I know of only make you wait a year post op to get pregnant. You are on the right track making sure you take prenatals and eat healthy, also make sure you get all your calcium, protein, and water in. I keep my fingers crossed that your insurance gets approved soon! Axelrod Hi you guys!! Im new here!! Hiya, I just wanted to take the time to introduce myself!!! My name is and I had WLS 9 months ago!! I have lost 150lbs and still have another 100lbs to go. I just found out this week that I am pregnant!! I havent been able to go the the obgyn as of yet but have had a blood test with my normal blood work to confirm my at home pregnancy tests! My husband and I have a 5 year old little boy and are very excited about having another lil one!!! I was worried at first that I would not ever reach my goal now that I've become pregnant but I know I will with much hard work after our bundle of joy arrives. I am getting worried about the baby though after reading about miscarrages!! I am mainly worried because I am waiting to be approved for medicaid since I dont have insurance at the momment, so I dont know when I will be able to go to the obgyn. I purchased some prenatle vitamins to take until I am able to do so and I notice I get hungry a lot more then before. I have been eating healthy and doing everything that I know to do to keep this baby healthy!!! If anyone has any advice PLEASEEEEEEEEE let me know. I am hoping after my interview with the medicaid office next week they will put the insurance in effect and I will be able to get to the obgyn QUICK!!! Children are a blessing, and a gift from the Lord. -Psalm 127:
