Guest guest
I am not Mandi, but I am having my 5th section in a week and a half. My doctors have all said it depends on what your uterus looks like. Sometimes you end up getting a weak spot or window which increases your risk of uterine rupture. I, also, work in labor and delivery as a nurse and we have had many patients coming in having their 5th and 6th c-sections. We had one patient that was having her 10th. I do have a placenta previa and an acreta with this pregnancy. I am currently on bedrest and I have a very good chance of having a hysterectomy with this baby. My doctors are going to be well prepared with blood standing by in the OR and a specialist assisting in case the placenta adheres to my bladder. This is related to having previous c-sections. The placenta is adhered to the scar tissue. Anyway, there is no longer a rule of three sections only and most women are just fine. God bless, in Ga Having baby #5 on 1/20/
