My OBGYN really didn't ever seem concerned about my weight loss or about

nutrition during my entire pregnancy. I'm 9 days from my due date

(tick-tock) and have lost a total of about 100# since conception which

CERTAINLY has not effected the baby's growth. The ultrasound shows a very

active 8# baby boy and my tummy has always measure big (except today's

measurement was a little small).

Make certain your doc monitors you closely, but based on my experience,

there hasn't been a whole lot to 'worry' about.

I am alot like Haley. I got pregnant at only 7 weeks post op. I lost 91 lbs

during my pregnancy. was born healthy and weighing 7lbs 13oz. I was

pretrified at the beginning and saw a Perinatalogist the entire time.

Everything went great. My Dr. did track my babies growth more closely (13

US's), and at the end of the pregnancy I did NST's (non-stress tests-

basically 20 min on the fetal heart monitors) every week. Everything went

well.
