Yes, 's did the same thing. Just as well their feet continue to grow in

the casts! Don't worry about it, as long as the toes are a good color. Just

enjoy being able to see those cute little toes!

Hi guys,

Anyone experience their child's feet growing in their casts? Call me crazy, but

Lhea's toes are just a little bit outside her casts........

Dr. P will be removing her casts next week and Lhea gets into her shoes then.

Thanks!

This is pretty normal. Keep an eye on them though, if you see signs of swelling

or discoloration she's grown too much and they need to come off.

Thanks, & ! Her toes are definetely in good color - but that's

amazing!!! How their toes can grow - in a way it's nice to see how their bodies

can grow in a couple of weeks!!!!

Thanks again!!!

Hi S! Thank you so much for your advice. I just responded to as well -

she mentioned the same thing. I am checking on the color all of the time and am

checking to see if there is still room above her feet. Just one more week. We

go to Iowa on Thursday! :)))))

My son's feet have grown in his casts. Every single cast he has had

his toes have gone over the cast by the next week. His toes got

swollen in his first cast and have stayed that way since. His

pediatrician saw the foot and said that his toes were fine as long as

they would turn white then pink again. My son is in his last cast,

only had to have four. This Thursday he gets it off and his shoes

will go on.
