Guest guest Posted March 13, 2004 Report Share Posted March 13, 2004 WIC was a godsend with both of my girls. I could not breastfeed my first and the formula saved us literately. My 3 year old is still on WIC and we have enough milk, cheese, eggs, cereal, peanut butter and beans for all of us. (family of four with another on the way) Now that I will be on WIC as well, I estimate it will save us over $100 in our food budget every month. My kids don't get much juice so I pass the juice on to my grandmother who lives in a low income apartment complex and she is able to pass it along to those who can use it.
