Guest guest
I know this is off topic, but this is the best place I know to get an answer to this question! I am careful not to mix powdered supplements like enzymes and vitamins in hot food so as not to destroy their effectiveness. For EFAs, I have tried to give my son fish oil pills, but he reacted badly to them. So, recently I have been giving him Van's wheat free waffles with added Flax, and omega 3 fortified eggs, to get some EFA's into him. It just occured to me that both of these are cooked before he gets them. The product labels state 1000mgs (per waffle) and 400mgs (per egg) of Omega 3s. Does anyone know if the cooking destroys or harms the Omega 3s? , Rochester NY
