They may be a tad bit uncomfortable, but they do help with circulation and keep the blood from pooling in your legs. Also, when you get home elevate your legs above the level of your heart to allow whatever fluid accumulation you have to come back out. Another suggestion is to drink as much water as you possibly can throughout the day. I work as a transcriptionist and those are the most common recommendations the doctors around here give to their patients with leg swelling. Good luck!!
