Guest guest
Hi Everyone I have been searching the archives and I can't locate my answer. So I hope someone can I know I read somewhere that the enzymes have to be administered separtely from the DMSA & ALA. So that the chelators don't cancel the enzymes. Was it give the chelators then one hour after I give enzymes? Thanks for your help.

So that the chelators don't cancel the enzymes. Was it give the chelators then one hour after I give enzymes? Thanks for your help. You may be remembering a discussion around Christmas time. Nothing is conclusive at the moment because no concrete or even suspected interaction has been pinned down. Months later, there is still nothing. Most everyone using DMSA and ALA have had no problem at all with enzymes no matter how they timed it. I am wondering if the problem seen with one person was due to the product called Metal Free and something " special " in that. If anything, giving the enzymes WITH the chelators would be the safest bet. The chelator and enzymes both contain sulfur groups (negative charge). They will not be interacting. It is the interaction with the metal (positive charge) that is the concern. I would just give the enzymes and chelator whenever you want or need to. Then if and only if, you feel there might be a problem, write back. Are you on 8-hour or 4-hour schedule? Hope this helps, please write it is not clear. .
