Hi Jenn,

OMG, I am so excited...someone from Vancouver Yea!!! We are seeing

Dr. Pirani on Dec 7th too, hoping Grace will go down to 16 hrs. We

haven't scheduled the app. yet but it is usually between 1 and 2pm. I

can't wait to meet you!!

The teething med is called Hylands teething tablets, I haven't had a

chance to look for them yet but I will be soon and will let you know

where I find them. Where do you live in the city, we are in

Coquitlam, I gave birth at Royal Columbian.

Dr. Pirani recommended that I look on line for some support as I was

pretty upset at our first appointment. He was away at the time of

Grace's birth and I didn't know if it would be ok to wait a few days

so we had her casted at Children's, baaaad experience so when we saw

Pirani, I guess I was expecting the worst (I was crying quite a bit,

hormones gone wild LOL). He was and is just amazing though! So I have

only been on the board for a few months, the mommies here are so

great though, it has been such a help as I knew nothing about and no

one with Club Foot.

It's too bad that some people are " weirded out " by breastfeeding,

that's why we have boobs in the first place for cripes sakes! It is

so rewarding to nurse your baby, the little noises of contentment are

my favourite! I encourage everyone I know who is having their first

to breastfeed!

I am so happy for some reason that there is someone in Vancouver on

this board! Just a warning though, when you see me, I am still quite

pleasantly plump! Still in my mat clothes ( I saw myself on video

yesterday and just about fell over! At least with a picture you can

suck your various body parts (tummy, chin etc) in a bit and angle it

right but with video, there is no hiding! It was scary! I have a

friend that wants to go to waterbabies together and I was like thank

God I can't go in November (DBB 23/7) and have to wait until January,

there is no way I am fitting into my bathing suit right now and I

WILL NOT buy any larger sized cloth's or bathing suit as my hubby

suggested!!

Anyway enough of my rambling, can't wait to see you on the 7th!!!!!!

& Grace - first baby, she weighs 17.3, she will be 4 mos on

Nov 21st -if she had of been on time, they would have had the same B-

Day. 10 days overdue in July, remember that heat...it was brutal, 39

degrees the day we left the hospital! ) Oh one more thing FYI we

were curious and weighed the brace and it is just under a pound.

Can't wait to meet you and Grace too!

was born at Ridge Meadows hospital. We live in Maple Ridge.Yes Dr.

Pirani is wonderful.Don't worry about your weight they say it takes nine months

to put it on and it takes nine to take it off at least i hope its not any

longer than that....lol.Well alexander is calling (crying) samething isn't it

though gotta go see you on the 7 th and talk to you here.

oh and grace and alexander can meet too.........
